It is hard to believe that fall will start in sunny southern California soon. I am loving this beautiful always sunny weather with wearing my favorites summer staples and workout clothes. One of my favorite summer staple is a dress! Dresses of all kinds actually! But, let's talk about how we can transition your basic summer sleeveless dress into fall fabulous-ness!

This demin jacket I am wearing from Forever21 has been in my wardrobe for years! It is my go-to piece for warmth, style, and coverage. The casual look of the denim jacket paired with the feminine lace of the dress creates a casual elegance that is flawless. This outfit pairing looks great while you are shopping, out with the girls, and definitely on a special date with your man!

Finding the perfect layering top is important to me because I prefer the coverage when I can. The perfect layering top is somewhat fitted to allow me to tuck the material smoothly and has some give to it for mobility and stretch. My designer leather handbag from Steve Madden is a true find! I actually spotted it in a backroom of a gently used, vintage and consignment thrift store called Collective Habit in Laguna Niguel, CA. Summer won't last too long which means stores will be 'clearance-ing' their seasonal apparel. So, don't by shy in picking up that sweet looking sleeveless top or dress because now you know with a classic denim jacket and/or t-shirt you will be entering fall in style (and staying warm too)!
